Eating meat, especially processed meats like bacon and sausages, has been linked to an increased risk of colorectal cancer. Red meat consumption is also associated with higher cancer risk when eaten in large amounts. To reduce risk, limit intake of processed and red meats and focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
